"Mercury Records" (Mercury Records) is a song written, composed and sung by Guo Ding. It was included in Guo Ding's album "The Execution Cycle of Aircraft" released on November 25, 2016, as the second wave of lyrical title songs.

"Mercury" is inspired by Mercury. Mercury is the closest planet to the sun, but it cannot break away from its orbit, and can no longer approach the sun. Therefore, Guo Ding borrowed Mercury's companion movement to the sun as a metaphor for the emotional relationship between people who are both far and near, and anthropomorphic. He created the song with his creative techniques, science-fiction music orchestration and production methods, and he hopes that the audience will find the most suitable "position" in the life course from the song.

Obsessed with your eyes

The Milky Way has traces to follow

Through the gap of time

It's still true

Attract me trajectory

In this blink of an eye

Closest distance

Along with the texture of your skin

Walkthrough the zigzag arm

Have a dream for you

Have a dream for you

Wait till I see you full of silver

Wait until you can't tell the seasons

Dare to say addiction

How far will it take to get into your heart

How long will it take to get close to you

Far and near

The person who can't be approached

Also waiting to meet you

Orbiting planet

how can

have you

How lucky I to be

I dare to let you realize that you are not alone

When I can fly with you again

Travelling around is boring

At least

be with you

"Mercury" is a love song, without the straightforwardness often seen in the lyrics. It uses a very Hong Kong-style expression, slightly cool and depressing, to describe the relationship between "Mercury" and "Sun", see It seems to be related to astronomical events, slightly "sci-fi", but almost humane. The song sends emotional stories to astronomy and describes the silent company as the company of Mercury and the sun. The seemingly cold theme contains a warm and expressive emotional relationship.
